What Do the Lights on a Compact Player Mean?
Compact players have three lights on the front — Power (top), Network (middle), and Audio (bottom). These lights can help you figure out what’s wrong if the music isn’t working.

No Audio – How to Identify the Issue
1. Power Light (Top)
Shows if the player is getting power.

Solid Green – Powered on and running normally

Blinking Green – Getting power, but not fully on yet

Solid Red – Hardware problem (could be power supply or damage)
What to do:

Try unplugging the player, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging it back in

If red light remains, contact Custom Channels Support
2. Network Light (Middle)
Shows if the player is connected to the internet.

Solid Green – Connected to the network
-
Blinking Green – Trying to connect

Solid Orange – Trouble connecting
-
Solid Red – Not connected
-
Blinking Red – Not physically plugged in
What to do:

Check that the Ethernet cable is plugged in securely

If not green, ask your IT team to check the connection

If your Audio light is also off or red, go here:
No Audio – Player Not Connected to the Network
3. Audio Light (Bottom)
Shows if the player is receiving and playing music.

Solid Green – Music is playing normally

Blinking Green – Trying to play (may be a slow connection)

Solid Red or No Light – Not playing — possibly a network or firewall issue
What to do:

Restart the player by unplugging and replugging it

If red or no light, and the Network light is green, the issue may be with your AV setup:
No Audio – Player Shows It’s Receiving Music -
If both Audio and Network lights are off or red:
No Audio – Player Not Connected to the Network
