No Audio – How to Quickly Identify the Issue

If you don’t hear music from your player, don’t worry — there’s a simple way to figure out where the issue is. Let’s start by checking what your player is doing. Once we know whether the player is receiving music, we’ll direct you to the right fix.

Step 1: Check Your Player

Compact Player:
Look at the audio light on the front of the unit.

  • Green = The player is receiving music

  • Red or Off = The player is not connected

LCD Player:
Look at the screen — does it show a playlist name or track info?

  • Yes = The player is receiving music

  • It says “Try another preset” or “Disconnected” = The player is not connected


Step 2: Choose the Right Path

❌ Player is not connected No Audio – Player Not Connected to the Network
