How to Set a Static IP on LCD
Step-by-step instructions for assigning a static IP to your Custom Channels LCD music player.
How to Set a Static IP on an LCD Player
You can manually assign a static internal IP address to your Custom Channels LCD music player using the front panel buttons.
Before beginning, make sure you have the following network information:

Desired static IP address for the player

Network’s subnet mask
-
Network’s gateway IP address
-
DNS addresses (we recommend 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
Steps to Set the Static IP

Turn off the player.
Then press and hold the “Esc” and “OK” buttons simultaneously to enter the service menu. -
The screen will display “Setup”. Press OK.

Press the down arrow to highlight “Network Setup”, then press OK.

The display will show “DHCP”.
Press the down arrow once to switch to “Static IP”, then press OK. -
At “IP-Address: [OK] to edit”, press OK.

Enter the static IP address using the arrow keys:

Use up/down arrows to change numbers

Use left/right arrows to move between digits
-
IP addresses must use leading zeros.
Example:192.168.1.2
→ enter as192.168.001.002

After entering the IP address, press OK to move to:

Network Mask
-
Default Gateway
-
DNS 1
-
DNS 2
(Repeat the same entry method for each)

After completing DNS 2, the screen will show “Ready”.
Press OK to confirm and finish. -
The display will return to “Network Setup”.
Press Esc twice, and the player will shut down. -
Turn the player back on.
It will now attempt to connect using the static IP configuration.
